Welcome to PLATHINIUM 2027
The PLAsma THIN film International Union Meeting (PLATHINIUM) is a biennial scientific conference dedicated to the rapidly evolving fields of low-temperature plasmas, thin films, coatings and plasma-based technologies.
Created in 2019 through the merger of the former CIP, ITFCP and MIATEC conferences, PLATHINIUM has progressively established itself as a meeting point for the international community working at the interface of plasma science, materials, surface engineering and emerging technologies. Beyond the presentation and discussion of scientific results, the conference aims to foster interactions between researchers, students and industrial partners, encourage new collaborations, and provide young scientists with opportunities to learn, exchange ideas and develop their scientific networks.
The scope of PLATHINIUM is deliberately broad, reflecting the diversity and growing importance of low-temperature plasma science. Topics range from plasma physics and diagnostics to thin-film deposition, surface modification, nanostructures and advanced materials, with applications spanning microelectronics, automotive and aeronautics, as well as energy, environmental, biomedical and agricultural technologies.
After several successful editions, we are delighted to welcome you to PLATHINIUM 2027 in Antibes, from september 20 to 24. We hope that this new edition will once again be a stimulating opportunity to share ideas, challenge established concepts, discover new approaches and, above all, strengthen the links within our community.
